This is NOT your typical "30 Day" or complete it and you're done type of challenge. In fact, it isn't even technically a challenge. It's about creating a healthier lifestyle through small and sustainable changes that lead to a lifetime of health and happiness.
The Healthy Living Challenge is all about creating a healthy lifestyle through hard work, goal setting, tracking your nutrition and exercise and celebrating your very real results that lead to a healthy lifestyle change! It'll challenge you to form new habits and reshape the way you think about your health while building motivation and accountability along the way.
That's why there is no specific timeline or end date. I've designed this program to be something that lasts for a lifetime while promoting good overall health. The goal of the challenge is to build a sustainable diet and exercise routine that fits into your schedule and lifestyle with convenience that doesn't make you give up the things you truly want.
Throughout this challenge you will work not only your body, but also your mind. Being healthy is much more than being in good physical shape. Healthy is state of Physical AND Emotional well-being. In my opinion, your mind is just as important, if not more important, than your body. My hope for you in joining this challenge is that you get as much out of it mentally as you do physically.
The Healthy Living Challenge is broken down into 3 main sections:
- Motivation - Our goal is to figure out what drives you. What is it that’s going to keep your foot on the accelerator and remain consistent – not just for a couple weeks, but for a lifetime. Overall, the goal is to fall in love with a healthy lifestyle that includes exercise and proper nutrition.
- Nutrition - In this section, you will create a personalized meal plan that is best suited to your lifestyle and dietary preferences based on two different styles of eating - Counting Macros and "Eating with your Hand." The biggest pieces of advice that I can give you regarding nutrition is simply to eat as healthy as you can, track your diet and meal prep.
- Exercise - There are 5 different workout programs to choose from based on your goals: Body Weight, High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), Size, Strength, 5k.
